The hotel was Victorian, spent my time lovely here. Queen suite with king beds was the best. Location: the property was right by so many wonderful shops & restaurants/cafes as well as the center of Ferndale. I was there before now and will be back.

The staff are efficient and provide a great service. The breakfast choices are high quality and generous with potatoes, toast and also cake.

The Veneto room was charming, and it was a lovely touch to find truffles waiting for my birthday. The experience was marred by a lack of hot water in the shower, despite efforts to resolve the issue. The breakfast was decent but felt too ordinary compared to other places I've visited, and the stinginess with the homemade jelly was surprising for the price paid.

We loved exploring the beautiful trails and the nearby fun picnic area. The complimentary tea and cakes at 5 pm were a good treat, and the communal breakfast was a nice touch. Plenty of parking made things easy, and the staff was super friendly.
Unfortunately, the mattress in our room was quite uncomfortable, and I had a tough time getting a good night's sleep because of it.

Charming mansion, really good breakfast, the bed in our room was great and everything was clean and accessible, with free wi-fi in public areas and a perfect location just a block from downtown attractions.
The mattress had a noticeable dip in the middle.
